One feature of going out with Jack is that he always likes to take something with him - often he says he wishes to show it to someone or other "I want to show Wadey my rock" or whatever. This means there is a constant flow of objects out to the car and sometimes strange things to bring back in. Today I had to bring in the bamboo steamer from the wok.

Luke has come into his own after reaching the six month mark and is really engaging with the world. He has turned out to be quite a similar baby to Jack - he feels very similar to hold and moves similarly. The difference seems to be in the defining feature that everyone comments on - with Jack it was "He'll keep you on your toes". With Luke it's "He's a smiley baby" and indeed Luke has the most incredibly genuine smile which is his secret weapon to sneak in a grab the attention from whoever Jack has most recently introduced himself too.
